Prior to the show, the City of Geneva had their annual
Halloween parade for kids. As the parade passed by the Smith
Opera House, a local high school marching band, leading the parade,
broke into "Shakedwon Street".
The Smith Opera House opened in 1894. Richardsonian/Romanesque design
by architects Joseph Pierce and Henry Bickford. The opera house was named
after its first owner: William Smith.
